Rajasthan Weather Update

Temperature to Drop by 2-3°C from Today

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a temperature drop of 2-3°C is expected from Wednesday in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, and other parts of the state. Meanwhile, Gwalior and Chambal divisions may experience cloudy weather, while a slight dip in temperatures is also likely in other districts.

On February 6, clear skies and sunny conditions will prevail during the daytime, but chilly mornings and cool nights will persist.

Western Disturbance to Influence Weather from February 8

The IMD has forecasted the activation of a Western Disturbance on February 8, which could bring weather changes across Madhya Pradesh. During the first week of February, cloud cover is expected in some areas, while from February 12-14, intermittent rainfall is predicted across the state.

By February 20, winter’s impact will further decline, leading to a gradual rise in both daytime and nighttime temperatures. Currently, two cyclonic circulations are active, contributing to the shifting weather patterns.

Recorded Temperatures in Major Cities

On Tuesday, February 4, several districts experienced warm daytime temperatures, indicating a seasonal transition:

  • Mandla: 34.7°C
  • Seoni: 33.4°C
  • Jabalpur: 33.3°C
