Madhya Pradesh Sees Relief from Severe Cold, Mild Chill in Mornings and Nights; Weather to Change Next Week

Bhopal, February 6  –Madhya Pradesh is witnessing a shift in weather patterns, bringing relief from the biting cold. In Bhopal and other districts, temperatures have risen significantly, with daytime highs crossing 34°C while night temperatures hover around 18°C. Although mornings and nights remain slightly chilly, the afternoon sun is making temperatures feel warmer.

However, on Wednesday, multiple cities, including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Ujjain, and Jabalpur, recorded a drop of up to 5°C in daytime temperatures. According to the Meteorological Department, some parts of the state may experience rainfall next week, leading to a further drop in temperatures.

Weather Forecast: Western Disturbance to Bring Changes

Meteorologists predict that day and night temperatures may fall by 2-3°C in the coming days. In some regions, night temperatures could dip below 10°C again.

The western disturbance is expected to become active by February 8, influencing weather patterns across the state.
🔹 Rain is predicted on February 12, 13, and 14, which may lead to another cooling phase.
🔹 By February 20, the cold will subside significantly, with both daytime and nighttime temperatures rising steadily.

Currently, another western disturbance is active, affecting various parts of Madhya Pradesh.

On February 7, clear skies and sunshine will dominate during the day, but mild cold conditions will persist at night and early morning.

🔹 Indore: 25.4°C (5.2°C drop)

🔹 Ujjain: 26°C
🔹 Jabalpur: 29.5°C

Raisen Records Lowest Temperature in MP

Among all districts, Raisen recorded the lowest temperature at 24.8°C.
