Washington, February 5 Former U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that once the ongoing Gaza war ends, Israel will hand over control of the region to the United States. He also asserted that no American troops would be needed for deployment in Gaza.
Trump made this statement on his social media platform, Truth Social, saying:
“After the fighting is over, the Gaza Strip will be handed over to the United States. By then, Palestinians will have already been resettled in safe and modern homes.”

Israeli Defense Minister Supports Trump’s Proposal
Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has expressed support for Trump’s idea. Posting on X (formerly Twitter), Gallant wrote:
“I welcome President Trump’s bold plan. This initiative could help relocate a significant portion of Gaza’s population to various locations worldwide.”
Israel’s Proposed Plan for Gaza’s Population
According to Israeli officials, the relocation strategy involves allowing Gaza residents to leave through land, sea, and air routes to countries willing to accept them.
Although Trump’s claim has stirred international debate, there is no official confirmation from the Israeli government or the Biden administration regarding such a plan.
With tensions escalating in the region, the future of Gaza remains uncertain, and Trump’s remarks have added a new dimension to the ongoing geopolitical discussions.
