Jaipur, 07 February 2025 Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), attended the Annual South Western Air Command (SWAC) Commanders’ Conference, which took place from 06 to 07 February 2025 at Headquarters South Western Air Command, Gandhinagar. He was welcomed by Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, SWAC, and received a Ceremonial Guard of Honour upon arrival.

Operational Preparedness and Readiness
During the conference, the CAS reviewed the operational preparedness of SWAC and commended all personnel for maintaining the highest level of readiness to tackle any contingency. He acknowledged the command’s vital role in safeguarding national security and emphasized continuous capability development to meet evolving threats.
CAS Highlights IAF’s Strategic Vision
In his address, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh reiterated the Indian Air Force (IAF) doctrine, which envisions the IAF as an agile, adaptive, and decisive aerospace power. He urged commanders to:
Foster a conducive flying and operational environment
Maintain a healthy work-life balance
Stay updated on developments in military aviation, particularly in space, cyber, and electronic warfare
The CAS emphasized the smooth integration of Agniveervayu personnel into the IAF and highlighted the importance of mentorship and monitoring in their assimilation process.
Commendation for Excellence in Operations
Exercise Tarang Shakti-24, a key operational initiative, was highlighted during the conference. CAS praised the efforts of commanders and personnel who played a crucial role in its execution.
The event concluded with CAS awarding trophies to stations that demonstrated exceptional performance across various operational domains.
