Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has landed in legal trouble as a court in Ludhiana has issued an arrest warrant against him in connection with a ₹10 lakh fraud case. The actor had been summoned multiple times to appear as a witness, but he failed to do so. As a result, the court has now ordered his arrest.

Sonu Sood Ignored Multiple Court Summons
The case revolves around a ₹10 lakh fraud complaint filed by Ludhiana-based lawyer Rajesh Khanna. The complaint alleges that a man named Mohit Shukla lured people into investing in fake Rizika coins. Sonu Sood was required to testify as a witness in the case, but despite receiving multiple summons from the court, he failed to appear even once.
Taking strict action against his continuous absence, Judicial Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur issued an arrest warrant for the actor. The warrant has been sent to the Oshiwara Police Station in Andheri West, Mumbai, directing the police to arrest Sonu Sood and present him in court.

According to the magistrate’s order, “Sonu Sood was sent multiple summons, and he was aware of them, yet he did not appear in court. Since he has repeatedly ignored the court’s directives, an arrest warrant has now been issued against him.”
