In October, OnePlus launched its new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13, in China. This device is now set to be introduced in global markets, including India. However, ahead of this, the company has already started working on another phone in the series. Today, the OnePlus 13R smartphone was spotted on the Global Certification Forum (GCF) certification site. This phone will be a more affordable variant of the OnePlus 13, making it a suitable option for those who want to experience a flagship device at a lower price.
OnePlus 13R Spotted on GCF Certification Site
It was previously known that the model number of the OnePlus 13R is CPH2645, and this device has now been listed on the Global Certification Forum. According to the listing, the phone will support 2G, GSM, 3G WCDMA, 4G LTE FDD, 4G LTE TDD, and 5G networks. It will also come with support for 5G bands N1, N2, N3, N5, N7, N20, N28, N38, N40, N48, N66, N77, and N78. However, no additional details were revealed in the listing.
Expected Specifications of the OnePlus 13R
The OnePlus 13R smartphone is likely to feature last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. In contrast, the OnePlus 13 model is expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Additionally, the 13R model may offer an impressive display with a 1.5K resolution. For power, the device might be equipped with a 6,000mAh battery, an upgrade from the 5,500mAh battery on the OnePlus 12R.
As for the camera, the OnePlus 13R could sport a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary camera sensor and a 50MP Samsung JN1 telephoto lens, whereas the OnePlus 12R model did not include a telephoto camera. The OnePlus 12R came with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary rear sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens.
